Pets

Keys Gate is a pet friendly community. To ensure the safety of all our residents, the following pet rules are in place.

All pets are required to be restrained on a leash no longer than six feet.

Residents are responsible for picking up their pet’s excretions left on private residences and in common areas. Most neighborhoods have “doggy waste stations” with plastic bag dispensers.

Residents are responsible for assuring that their pets do not become a nuisance or disturbance to any neighbor.

Pets are not allowed to be tied up in the exterior of a hone or common area or left unattended in a yard, balcony, porch or patio.

Tropical fish and domestic birds are permitted as long as they are kept indoors. Reptiles, livestock, wildlife or poultry are not permitted.

No animal may be raised, bred or kept for commercial purposes.

Violations of the Pet Rules shall entitle the Association to take action, including but not limited to fining the unit owners and/or require any pet to be permanently removed from the property.
